Pedal to the top of the World motorable road known as UMLING La pass. Located 250km from Leh near the China border. Get a chance to visit the Indian Astronomical Observatory located in Hanle since 1999. Being the one closest to nature, this place makes a person see through themselves deep inside.

Tour Plan
The journey begins in the morning from LEH, all riders across the country arrive at Leh for acclimatization & briefing of the expedition. Our ground team will connect with you for pick-up from the airport.
Thereafter you are transferred to your hotel, where you meet up and get acquainted with other fellow riders on Day 1 of the tour
After getting some rest and post-lunch assembly for briefing & distribution of tour details & essentials for the journey is conducted. Post that we head out for a short orientation/acclimatization ride. In the evening post-dinner, we retire early to give our bodies a complete rest before the start of our expedition the next day.

Duration: 5-6 Hours
The beginning of once in a lifetime journey begins. After an early breakfast, we will be starting our TOUR DE UMLING La cycle tour from the hotel itself. Hop on your bicycle to start this memorable journey, Riding through the valley laid with green fields and mountains. The landscape feels as if it was specifically designed for an adventure-seeking cyclist. Riding through hairpin curves the road leads us to the small town of Upshi. The day’s journey makes you more inclined towards the tour.

The day will begin with a ride from mountain climb & downhill to Nyoma. After some relaxation at Chumathang, we descend towards the mountain land zone for the Tank practice land of the Indian army. Post munching ourselves & after a while of easy riding, we reach Nyoma at the foothills of the Hanle.

The journey of true MTB begins. An offroad to the gateway of UMLING Laa. Target to the world’s highest motorable road. The true MTB track to see you wild cyclist.

Cycling 50km ( 25km up / 25km Down)
Duration 8-10 Hours
The Final Day of the Ride. We start Pedalling early to the target UMLING La. The initial 18km are straight & easy. The last 6km are the most challenging climb of the Journey to the top. The weather will be changing suddenly. A hard trail will take you to the top of the World.

Momento Ceremony followed by Party & Dinner.
Early morning we drive back from Hanle to Leh on support vehicles. Evening we party & celebrate the victory of Umling la. The checkout shall be next day followed by airport drop.
